What you will be doing

We are looking for a strong Senior Android Engineer who can build WhiteCoat’s Android platform while working in a Codex-first, AI-native engineering environment.

This person should be able to ship production-quality mobile features, use AI agents to accelerate development and QA, and help connect mobile workflows to internal tools through MCPs and APIs.

On a day-to-day basis, this means you will:

  • Develop and maintain WhiteCoat’s Android applications using Kotlin / Java and modern Android development practices.

  • Build secure, reliable, user-friendly mobile features for teleconsultation, health screening, claims, payment, medication, and other healthcare workflows.

  • Use Codex and AI coding agents to accelerate development, refactoring, test generation, documentation, bug investigation, and release preparation.

  • Summon and coordinate multi-agent workflows for mobile feature analysis, regression testing, production issue diagnosis, and release review.

  • Build or integrate MCPs / API connectors where needed so AI agents can inspect relevant mobile logs, crash reports, Jira tickets, release notes, API contracts, and documentation safely.

  • Integrate mobile apps with backend APIs, authentication, payment, notification, video, analytics, and operational services.

  • Improve app reliability, crash rate, performance, startup time, monitoring, and user experience across supported Android devices.

  • Support production incident investigation using logs, crash reports, monitoring tools, API traces, and release evidence.

  • Work closely with Product, QA, Backend, DevOps, IS, and Support to diagnose and resolve issues quickly.

  • Participate in code reviews, release planning, regression testing, post-release monitoring, and incident reviews.

Our Benefits

  • Make a Real Impact: Opportunity to contribute to a leading digital health company's rapid growth.

  • Fast-paced Start-up Environment: Experience an environment where you get to own and make tangible impact without bureaucracy getting in the way of rapid decision-making.

  • Great Team: Collaborate with intelligent, friendly, and supportive professionals from diverse backgrounds.

  • Hands-on Learning & Growth: Gain hands-on experience in strategy, partnerships, operations, and product innovation within a growing industry.

  • Competitive Compensation & Benefits: Competitive compensation and performance-based bonus. Holistic health insurance for your peace of mind for both in-patient and out-patient coverage.
