What you will be doing

We are looking for a strategic and hands-on People Partner to join the WhiteCoat People Team. You will work directly with business leaders across functions and regions to shape and deliver end-to-end people practices ranging from hiring, engagement, and performance, to operations and compliance. You will work closely with the rest of the People Team to build a high-performing organisation.

As a People Partner, you will act as a trusted advisor to our leadership team, driving both strategic initiatives and day-to-day operations that help our teams grow and thrive. On a day-to-day basis, this means you will:

  • Partner directly with and coach business leaders to drive the full range of people initiatives (e.g. performance management, talent development, organisational change, engagement, employee relations).

  • Build and automate people operations and processes to enable lean well-functioning operations and quick data feedback loops for the People Team to improve operations.

  • Run hiring pipelines end-to-end to troubleshoot bottlenecks and hire the best talent we can.

  • Prioritise and drive new people policies and practices to improve organisation functioning.

Job requirements

What we are looking for

Required:

  • 4–8 years of relevant HR/People experience in a fast-paced or evolving environment.

  • Strong generalist foundation across the employee lifecycle, including exposure to business partnering, performance, and employee relations.

  • Demonstrated ability to build trust with senior leaders and influence outcomes with empathy and credibility.

  • Attention to detail in operationalising concepts and policies into operations, processes, and practice.

  • Independent, resourceful, and adaptable—with a clear bias to action and ownership.

  • A learning mindset: curiosity to understand how the business works and how People practices can be shaped to build a high-performing organisation.

Good to have:

  • Prior experience in a high-growth tech company or startup.

  • Familiarity with regional employment practices in Southeast Asia.

  • Exposure to setting up or scaling People programs from scratch.

  • Familiarity with process design and automation tools.
