What you will be doing
We are looking for a Care Coordination Intern to support the team by managing health screening data, coordinating patient follow-ups, and performing general administrative tasks. As a Care Coordination Intern, you will be responsible for managing daily healthcare operations by reviewing health screening reports and identifying abnormal results that require clinical follow-up. This includes coordinating patient outreach through phone calls and email, following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
On a day-to-day basis, this means you will:
Gain hands-on experience supporting healthcare operations by reviewing and processing health screening reports in accordance with SOPS.
Develop an understanding of clinical workflows, including identifying abnormal findings and triggering appropriate internal follow-up processes.
Build exposure to patient communication workflows through assisting with outreach via email and phone for follow-up coordination.
Strengthen data management and attention-to-detail skills by maintaining accurate records across Excel and internal tracking tools.
Follow strict data privacy and confidentiality requirements when handling sensitive health information.
Get exposure to day-to-day operational and administrative work within a healthcare team.

Job requirements
What we are looking for
Required:
Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in any discipline; backgrounds in life sciences, healthcare, public health, or data-related fields are a plus.
High attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility when handling confidential information.
Ability to follow structured processes, checklists, and SOPs accurately.
Clear written and verbal communication skills for patient and internal communications.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort learning new internal systems.
Good to have:
Prior exposure to healthcare operations, health screening programmes, or clinical environments.
Basic familiarity with medical terminology, laboratory reports, or vital signs.
Experience in administrative, operations, or data-handling roles requiring accuracy and confidentiality.
Comfortable communicating with patients or stakeholders in a professional and empathetic manner.
